Prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, and oversee accounting processes in line with generally accepted accounting principles.

What you'll be doing:

• Partner with other departments to create and maintain processes to properly account for respective areas on the balance sheet. Ensure sufficient controls are in place with respect to these areas.
• Compile journal entries monthly and maintain a two-day close.
• Analyze accounts monthly through balance sheet reconciliation process.
• Support internal and external auditors on audit requests.

• Ability to work within a team and strong communication skills.

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in improving accuracy and efficiency in accounting functions.
• Knowledge of implementing various systemic/monitoring controls.
• Ability to suggest and execute ways to make processes more streamlined.
