THE OPPORTUNITY: INTEGRATED TAX CONSULTANTS (ITC)

ITC is a mid-sized, well-reputed, rapidly growing, and accessible firm that provides individual and business clients with a variety of professional accounting services. We maintain a collaborative, professional, down-to-earth, and fun work environment. Currently we are looking for individuals that are interested in employment for our upcoming tax season as seasonal employees. This is a great opportunity for candidates to gain experience in public accounting in the area of tax preparation. We provide complete training and mentorship for all staff. For successful seasonal staff there is also the potential for in-house career opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of the Tax Seasonal Staff include, but are not limited to, preparation of federal and state tax returns for individual and entity taxpayers, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and various accounting and research projects on an ad hoc basis. A qualified candidate should, in addition to having computer and accounting acumen, be detail-oriented, self-driven and comfortable asking questions when they need guidance. Comfort with computers, research resources, and the ability to learn new software platforms are a must.

TALENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Ability to manage time independently
• Self-directed
• Strong attention to detail
• Tax, accounting, or finance experience preferred
• Career oriented professionals with business experience and an interest in learning tax

SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION

• Start Date: February 1, 2024. End Date: April 17, 2024
• Minimum of 20/hours per week, flexible schedule, with potential for additional hours
• Paid position, pay rate starts at $23.00 - $26.00/hour, dependent on skills and experience.
