Job Description

**Job Summary:** We're looking for a skilled Pipe Installer to join our team. You'll be responsible for installing and securing pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to blueprints and building codes. This role requires precision, teamwork, and hands-on experience with tools and welding equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Install, align, and secure pipes and fixtures using hand tools and welding equipment + Measure, cut, and thread pipes accurately based on layout plans + Weld, solder, and cement joints to ensure strong, leak-free connections + Test piping systems for pressure and leaks; fix issues as needed + Collaborate with construction teams and engineers to ensure smooth project execution **Qualifications:** + Experience in pipe installation and welding + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications + Familiarity with safety standards and building codes + Strong teamwork and communication skills **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
