Job Description

Our client a poly bag manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and maintain the highest standards of quality in their flexible poly manufacturing operations.

This role is critical to ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in manufacturing, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes for flexible poly products.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections.
  • Manage laboratory testing for tensile strength, thickness, color consistency, and other critical parameters.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, test results, and corrective action reports.
  • Prepare and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
  • Train and supervise quality control technicians and inspectors.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the production floor.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and reduce defects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality control within flexible poly or plastic film manufacturing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with extrusion, lamination, and printing processes for flexible poly materials.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
