The Parts Expeditor is responsible for quickly identifying, sourcing, and billing automotive parts for technicians based on service requests. The role requires a solid understanding of automotive parts, high attention to detail, and proficiency in using tools like Snap-on and CDK to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: * Look up and identify vehicle parts using Snap-on and Dealerbuilt software. * Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate parts selection and delivery. * Process and bill parts for services based on technician needs and work orders. * Organize and maintain inventory of automotive parts. * Provide exceptional customer service by promptly supplying technicians with the necessary parts. * Ensure accurate part numbers, pricing, and documentation for billing. * Manage part handoffs to technicians and resolve any discrepancies related to parts. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or related field. * Proficiency in Snap-on or similar automotive parts lookup systems. * Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including filters, components, and tools. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to work with service advisors and technicians. * Basic proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet tools is a plus. * Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
