Job Description

Oracle CPQ / APEX Technical Consultant – 9 month + contract

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ technical specialist with strong hands-on configuration and development skills, ideally combined with expertise in Oracle APEX/ SQL . This role requires someone comfortable working "hands on keyboard" to deliver solutions within complex Oracle environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement solutions within Oracle CPQ to support business requirements
• Develop and extend functionality using Oracle APEX where required
• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate requirements into technical deliverables
• Carry out technical build, testing, and deployment activities in line with project timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within CPQ and integrated Oracle Cloud modules
• Provide input into technical design documentation and best-practice guidelines

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ configuration and technical development
• Strong background in Oracle APEX application development
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion / Cloud integrations (e.g. ERP, CRM, or middleware)
• Ability to work in an agile project delivery environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of technical deliverables
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• A proactive, technically capable consultant who enjoys solving problems and delivering robust solutions
• Comfortable being hands-on in both CPQ and APEX environments
• Available for an immediate start (contract) or open to a longer-term permanent opportunity

Role will be mostly remote with possibly one monthly on-site visit to the client site (typically 3 days grouped.
