Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Support classroom teachers in providing instruction aligned with Catholic values.
* Assist in translating and interpreting classroom materials and school communications.
* Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons and language development.
* Help maintain a positive, faith-filled, and safe learning environment.
* Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions.
* Communicate respectfully and effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
*Participate in school events, liturgies, and community activities as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
* Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to supporting Catholic education and the mission of Holy Cross School.
* Ability to serve as a positive role model rooted in Gospel values.

Education and Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
* Must pass Safe Environment Training and a Background Check
