Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000 (DOE)

About the Opportunity

My client, a well-established $50M general contractor with a longstanding relationship with Universal Studios, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee current/upcoming projects in the Orlando area. With a strong backlog of work secured for the next 5+ years, this is a long-term career opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented construction professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ground-up and CM projects from start to finish, with the first project expected to last one year.
• Oversee and mentor a Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage scheduling, cost control, billing, and project reporting.
• Read and interpret construction plans, RFIs, and submittals.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, including key partnerships in the theme park/amusement sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
• Preferably amusement park or large commercial project experience; open to strong commercial backgrounds.
• Proven ability to manage project scheduling, billing, cost control, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of construction plans and contract documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in the greater Orlando area (local candidates only).
