About the role, Your Impact
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Construction Intern in our Houston, TX office starting May 2026. This on-the-job experience will support the firm’s transportation, water, and wastewater departments by participating in the field observation of a variety of projects and an opportunity to work directly with firm clients. Assignments may involve roadway reconstructions, structural (bridges and walls) improvements, water and stormwater infrastructure construction, and sanitary sewer projects. The Intern will be actively involved in the oversight of construction, earning valuable experience in the civil engineering field.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this role is $23.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
