Job Summary

This is a part-time mobile role focused on weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays) in Southern Connecticut (New Haven County and Fairfield County) . As a Mobile Dog Groomer at Dog Father Grooming, you’ll travel to client appointments in a fully equipped company van to provide high-quality grooming services—including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and styling—while delivering exceptional care and customer service.

You’ll work independently on the road during our busiest days, supported by a strong operational team and a loyal weekend client base. This role is ideal for experienced groomers looking to maximize their earnings in a flexible weekend schedule.

• 40–45% commission, depending on experience
• Daily pay range of $250–$500+, based on appointments and schedule

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional dog grooming experience (mobile experience preferred, but not required)
• Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds; more is a plus
• Portfolio required — please provide grooming photos with your application
• Proficiency in breed-specific and general grooming techniques
• Experience with cats is a plus
• A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to providing excellent care
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently while upholding high professional standards
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required
• Availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays is essential; additional availability on evenings or holidays is a plus
