Our client is a Leading Regional Wholesale Distributor seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our GNO distribution facility. We need a true team leader who can effectively manage, mentor, train, coach and develop the current operations team to increase productivity levels. We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager with a solid background in distribution who has the passion and drive to effectively supervise and coordinate activities of our warehouse team members.

Position Overview

As our Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the overall operation of the warehouse. This includes managing staff, controlling inventory, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment. You will work hand in hand with our Branch Operations Manager and your direct reports include shipping/receiving clerks, stockers, order pullers and drivers.

Position Salary/Compensation

• Base Salary $75K+, depending on experience

Position Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; degree in business, logistics or related field a plus
• Must have at least 5 years progressive experience in warehouse management in a distribution environment
• Must have extensive inventory management and shipping & receiving experience
• Must be a hands-on leader who has been fully responsible coaching, mentoring, leading and development of staff to further productivity while working along with your team
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and AS400 a plus
• Certified Forklift Operator a plus
• Ability to organize materials, manage time, and prioritize tasks to complete projects on or before specified deadlines
• Excellent communicator with strong ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and hold team accountable
• Decision-making skills to manage complex situations
• Strong background in Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement
• Financial Management experience
• Experience managing Safety and Regulatory Compliance Programs
