Responsibilities

The Underwriting Support Operations Analyst will work closely with businesses on our client’s platform to ensure smooth operational processes. Key duties include:

• Provide underwriting and administrative support to help new businesses launch successfully.
• Coordinate training and ensure underwriting assistants are working effectively.
• Monitor policy administration data for accuracy and oversee outsourced data entry.
• Support broker relationships, agreements, inquiries, and reporting needs.
• Assist with insurer relationships, delegated authority, due diligence, and audits.
• Oversee cash, collateral, and account management, including billing and reconciliations.
• Support claims reporting and management.
• Help document and improve processes, and assist with metrics and presentations.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Key Details

This role reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with teams in the US and UK. Based in Charlotte, NC (Southend). Some travel required. Standard hours begin at 8am Eastern to align with London operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 2 years in an operations or relevant role with a US P&C insurer, MGA, wholesale broker, or agency.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Authorized to work in the US.

• Problem solving and process improvement skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and follow through on assignments.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute across multiple areas.

Additional Notes

Applicants must have direct experience supporting Property & Casualty underwriting with a US carrier, MGA, or agency. This is a hybrid role but requires daily on-site work in Charlotte, NC during training. Limited travel required.
