Location: Watertown, NY 13601

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 12-hour Varying shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2232 - $2376; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations in areas such as vascular, obstetric, abdominal, and small parts .
• Produce and evaluate the quality of images for interpretation by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any patient concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and radiologic safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography .
• Minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience .
• Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography is required.
• Vascular and obstetric sonography experience is required .
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registry Eligible .
• Current BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology .
• Proficient in producing clear and diagnostic-quality ultrasound images.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English .
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills .
• Demonstrates a high degree of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality .
