Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

Location: Syracuse, NY

Type: Contract

Shift: Day: Day or Night | 3x12s

Pay Range: $60 - $65hourly ( travel - $2,400.00- $2,600.00 weekly)



Job Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen, aerosol, and positive pressure therapy as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related equipment.
• Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Assist in CPR and emergency airway management.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans.
• Document care accurately and adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: A.S. in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• License: Active NY Respiratory Therapist License (required).
• Certifications: BLS (required).
• Experience: 2+ years of acute care experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Skills: Ventilator management, ABG analysis, and strong critical thinking.
