THIS ROLE IS ON-SITE BASED IN HOUSTON,TX (NO REMOTE WORK)

We’re looking for someone who’s all-in, not juggling multiple projects or building a separate business on the side. This role is designed for a professional who wants to plug deeply into one team , take full ownership of their work, and grow with us over the long haul.

If you're seeking a side gig, balancing freelance clients, or managing your own company, this likely isn't the right fit.

Your Mission:

  • Produce and edit 6+ episodes/month across branded podcasts, interviews, and promotional videos
  • Direct and shoot video content on-location and in our Houston studio with minimal supervision
  • Deliver finished video assets within 2 business days of recording, maintaining brand voice and visual consistency
  • Create a repeatable production and post workflow that improves speed and scalability
  • Serve as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring every video ties to business outcomes

Production & Efficiency

  • Keep shoot-day setup time under 60 minutes from arrival to “ready to roll”
  • Record 4+ episodes per studio day with 4 camera set-up and audio sync
  • Keep equipment downtime or setup errors under 5%

Post-Production

  • Edit and deliver long-form content (30–45 min episodes) in <2 business days
  • Deliver full media packages in <6 hours from start to finish.
  • Produce 5–8 social video cutdowns (15–60s each) per episode/podcast shoot
  • Propose 2+ ideas, critiques, or feedback during weekly meetings
  • Design thumbnails that consistently receive a 10% CTR or higher

Engagement & Impact

  • Reels you edit consistently achieve an Average View Duration (AVD) of 50% or higher, signaling strong viewer retention and content structure
  • Trailers reels you cut drive higher click-through rates (CTR) on YouTube thumbnails and improve watch time in the first 30 seconds
  • 50%+ of new business inquiries reference video content as part of their discovery or trust-building process, tracked through CRM lead attribution or client intake forms

Schedule:

While we aim to schedule all shoots and editing sessions between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday - Friday, occasional evening or weekend work may be required. We’ll always communicate early and work with your schedule to keep things balanced.

Occasional travel is required for this role.
