Plant Manager – Solar O&M – 2 Openings

Utility Scale O&M – 300MW

Compensation Structure: 130k-180k + 20% Bonus + Full Benefits

Company Profile:

A top 10 solar utility Owner Operator US is actively recruiting a Plant Manager – Solar O&M to join the team! These are 300MW+ site needing experienced Plant Managers located by Victorville, CA.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The Plant Manager – Solar O&M will be responsible for managing various components of the solar power plant maintenance program as they relate to day-to-day maintenance. The primary objective is to manage and administer the maintenance functions at the plant in accordance with the O&M agreement requirements. Additional responsibilities include:

• Manages all maintenance and technical requirements for the site, maintenance budget development, oversight and adherence
• Supervises plant maintenance program and use of the enterprise asset management system
• Monitors inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Oversee health and safety performance for technicians and contractors
• Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems continuously to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement
• Produce site reports and presentations of plant maintenance status, schedules and goals
• Assist with the hiring of solar techs and provide performance reviews

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solar/BESS site management experience needed
• Preferably at a large site (at least 300 MW)
• Experience bringing a site up to full production preferred.
• Significant experience with High Voltage and Medium Voltage
• Proven track record of developing and running maintenance program management
• Proven track record of managing / leading large team (10+)
• NERC regulatory familiarity and knowledge
• Equipment nice to haves: Nextracker experience, TMEIC Ninja, Power Electronics GEN3, MV + HV, substation experience
