Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a background in real estate or corporate accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and reporting to management
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to support decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate or corporate accounting experience strongly preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate a plus
• Sage 300 experience a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
