Job Description

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a motivated Sales Representative on behalf of a growing clinical laboratory located in the Norcross, GA area. This individual will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and managing the sales process from lead development to closing. The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue by conducting cold calls, following up on inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales leads through outbound calls and prospecting activities.
• Make cold calls to establish initial contact with potential clients and gather relevant information.
• Respond to customer requests for quotations and product testing.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships; track contact details and opportunities within CRM.
• Follow up with leads to assess interest, status, and next steps.
• Communicate laboratory capabilities, services, and turnaround times to clients.
• Manage relationships with established clients and monitor customer satisfaction trends.
• Collaborate with internal staff to ensure customer needs and timelines are met.
• Perform all responsibilities in compliance with company policies, SOPs, and applicable industry standards.
• Complete required training related to sales and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience making cold calls.
• At least 2 years of phone-based sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College coursework in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fields.
• Experience executing email marketing campaigns and landing pages.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Compensation: $50,000 base salary + 6% commission on every sale
