Job Description

Basic Purpose

The FSQA Supervisor is responsible for supervising QA technicians and administering and maintaining all aspects of food safety and quality assurance within the QA department. This includes the implementation, development, and oversight of programs such as HACCP, SSOP (pre-operational & operational), animal welfare, and other prerequisite programs. The role also involves ensuring compliance with SQF 2000 level 3 standards.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Program Development and Implementation : Develop, document, and implement programs and procedures to meet customer, company, and regulatory specifications.
• Training and Communication : Train all employees on new processes and procedures before implementation.
• Department Organization : Ensure the QA department is properly organized, staffed, and trained to meet requirements.
• Compliance and Monitoring : Oversee compliance with HACCP, SSOP, and other quality assurance programs. Assign, train, and monitor staff in accordance with company policies and government regulations.

• Status : Exempt
