Overview:
System One is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support our client, in developing and implementing their ISO 19443:2018 Quality Assurance Program. This position is part of a staff augmentation effort and will focus on program development, documentation, and certification support within the commercial nuclear sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and maintain ISO 19443:2018 quality assurance program processes.

• Write and update procedures, instructions, and related QA documentation.

• Review procedures for compliance with the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD).

• Manage and coordinate with accreditation bodies to obtain ISO 19443:2018 certification.

• Support quality oversight, audits, and compliance activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional NuScale teams on activities affecting quality.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE: Direct experience implementing ISO 19443:2018 in a commercial nuclear environment .

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and/or implementing nuclear quality assurance programs.

• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and nuclear QA standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B , 10 CFR 21 , and ASME NQA-1 .

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical discipline); may substitute 10+ years of directly applicable experience.

• Must be eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 .

Details:

• 6–9 month staff augmentation contract.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.

• Remote role with travel as required.
