Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications and systems. The QA Analyst will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, validate requirements, and improve overall product quality through structured testing and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a systematic approach to testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Execute manual and/or automated testing for web, mobile, and backend applications

  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes

  • Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Validate data integrity, system performance, and functionality

  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

  • Contribute to test process improvements and QA best practices

  • Maintain clear test documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC

  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)

  • Ability to write clear, detailed test cases and defect reports

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

  • Experience testing APIs, databases, and backend services

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments

  • ISTQB or similar QA certification
