We are seeking a PSA Engineer DTS to join our team. This PSA Engineer DTS role will involve administering, supporting, and enhancing Energy Management System (EMS) and Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) environments used for power system operations. The ideal PSA Engineer DTS will have strong experience in power system applications, EMS platforms, and DTS model validation within utility or energy environments.

This PSA Engineer DTS position requires hands-on technical expertise across EMS/DTS systems, Linux environments, databases, and system integration, along with the ability to troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain mission-critical power system applications. The PSA Engineer DTS will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, accuracy, and operational readiness.

• Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS)

• Energy Management Systems (EMS)

• Power System Applications: Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Forecasting, AGC

• EMS platforms (GE PowerOn Reliance / XA21, GE eTerra, or equivalent platforms)

• Protocols: ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus

• Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, Console

• Linux and Windows operating systems

• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server

• Programming and scripting: C, C++, PERL, SQL, Shell scripting

• EMS enhancement, defect fixing, and live system support

The PSA Engineer DTS will be responsible for administering and optimizing EMS and DTS systems through configuration, tuning, patching, and defect resolution. This role focuses on supporting dispatcher training environments, validating power system models, and ensuring accurate simulation of grid operations.

The position involves working closely with operational teams to troubleshoot EMS/DTS issues, deploy fixes on live systems, and maintain system stability. The PSA Engineer DTS will also support enhancements, system integrations, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring compliance with operational and security standards.

• Perform model validation and defect fixing for Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) systems

• Administer and optimize EMS applications through configuration, tuning, and security patching

• Execute technical corrective actions to restore failed or degraded EMS/DTS services

• Deploy, test, monitor, and validate break/fix patches and system modifications

• Support EMS applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, and AGC

• Work with Linux and Windows environments to manage EMS infrastructure

• Analyze logs, debug files, and database records to resolve system issues

• Support live customer systems, including installation of fixes and enhancements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and accuracy

• Participate in documentation, testing, and operational readiness activities
