Position: Project Manager – Steel Fabrication & Erection

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong background in steel fabrication and erection to oversee and manage assigned construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with contract specifications, maintain scheduling objectives, and lead a multidisciplinary team to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, with a focus on steel fabrication and erection.
• Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Interpret and review construction documents, including architectural plans, structural drawings, and shop drawings.
• Issue Purchase Requests for raw materials required for fabrication and monitor procurement timelines.
• Coordinate and manage RFI submissions, change order processes, and document control.
• Plan and schedule shop drawing development, steel fabrication workflows, and on-site erection activities.
• Maintain active communication with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
• Represent the company in construction site meetings and coordination sessions.
• Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Supervise, train, and delegate project tasks to Project Engineers and field staff.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting using industry-standard software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in steel fabrication and structural steel erection is essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices in structural steel systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with clarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to describe technical concepts clearly.
