Job Description

MissionXI are searching for a Project Architect to join one of the world's architecture firms. Our client is a leader in data center architecture and mission-critical facility design , recognized for their client-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate architectural and consultant documentation, including markups, detail review, quality assurance/quality control, and interdisciplinary alignment.
  • Develop creative design responses that align with the functional and strategic goals of each project.
  • Convert design concepts and information into clear visual representations.
  • Contribute to the production of comprehensive construction documents, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
  • Support the planning and tracking of project schedules and milestones.
  • Present technical solutions clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, encouraging collaboration and growth.
  • Address and resolve issues arising at the intersection of design, technical, and project goals, working closely with project leadership.
  • Apply a strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices to project work.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction methods and project phasing.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies, materials, codes, and industry innovations.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead client presentations and meetings.
  • Support client relationship management and maintain high standards of communication.

Qualifications

  • This is an on-site role requiring regular in-office presence.
  • Education: A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent qualification.
  • Credentials: Licensure or active progress toward architectural registration is expected.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation, particularly on complex commercial projects.
  • Experience leading large project teams is essential.
  • Familiarity with all phases of project development, construction administration, and consultant coordination is required.
  • Experience managing project budgets and schedules is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Revit is strongly preferred; familiarity with additional 3D modeling software is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on QA/QC processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction detailing and documentation workflows.
  • Ability to assess constructability and align design with construction methodologies and cost constraints.
