What You'll Do as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist"

• Provide occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students (3–4 years old) in a nurturing, early childhood education setting
• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and parents to support holistic student development
• Document treatment progress and maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences
• Provide consultation and education to staff and families
• Support classroom modifications and sensory strategies to enhance participation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

• Pay: $55-$58/hour
• Schedule: Full-time (School Hours)
• Duration: Full school year (September–June)
• High likelihood of permanent placement at the end of the school year

Pediatric Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Occupational Therapy License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
