Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager. The Nurse Manager will oversee the nursing staff and office staff to ensure high-quality patient care, manage administrative tasks, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nursing duties: Deliver all comprehensive nursing care to patients, encompassing all essential duties such as assessment, medication administration, treatment implementation, monitoring of patient progress, and coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff. Schedule shifts and manage staff performance to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage office and other medical staff, handle clinical reporting, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and staff performance.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate patient care services, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safety and satisfaction within the medical office.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison and address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Also experience working in medical office specializing in urology, nephrology, or other specialized medical practices.
  • Certifications: Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or similar certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in healthcare management software, and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard office hours.
  • Weekly travel to the different offices to support the medical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in Athena or other medical software.
