Graphic & Multimedia Designer
Assists with strategizing, designing, and producing visual communications for both print and digital materials. Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in design communications, related field or equivalent.
• Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite (Cloud): most especially Bridge, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Adobe Acrobat DC.
• Comprehension of coding language basics, such as HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
• Trained in typography aesthetics and functionality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365: most especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Teams
• Proficient with video chat platforms, including MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and others.
• Provide in-house graphic design, print preparation, and archiving of marketing collateral including but not limited to brochures, direct mail, advertising, website materials, posters, packaging, and logos for all products and services. This role is towards the visual aspects of such products, not the copywriting aspect, but there is potential for some overlap.
• Manage graphics associated with event promotion as appropriate through posters, flyers, and/or others. Design and arrange event design/layout and needed materials. Attend events as needed to promote the company’s public image and assure event success.
• Generate and release graphics for regular press releases, in partnership with external agency and internal team.
• Design graphics and/or layout for adverts and articles (to be publicized in print and digital publications, emails, mailers, and other platforms) in partnership with external agency.
• Design and development of PowerPoint presentations, dynamic/interactive forms, training materials, and similar.
• Design and development of interactive digital media, like animations, videography, and similar. This could include sourcing and collaborating with an external agency.
• Microsite design to support events or PR communications.
• Create and upload graphics for the website to promote various products, services, or events.
• As workload allows, monitor sales partner pages for correct ARI brand representation.
• Manage projects from conceptualization to production, including but not limited to consulting with client and management to determine scope of project, developing sample layouts for approval, interfacing with outside vendors, presenting samples for approval, and preparing final layout for production.
• Manage media asset library. Collaborate with Germany to share created products.
• Manage digital distribution of literature, including keeping the US design of literature current on website and cloud platform used for distribution of sales partner materials.
• Monitor and maintain marketing supplies (such as printed materials, SWAG, valve cutaways, and others) for event, customer, or employee use. Responsible for arranging marketing product ordering, shipping, receiving, and storage. Responsible for ensuring the outcome; full discretion in determining how this is achieved.
• Support Communications & Events Coordinator with collateral as assigned. Interact and collaborate effectively with internal team to assure creative needs of the company are met.
• Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors.
• Assure quality of final product before release.
• Maintain high level of knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of print materials. Keep up with new products and services that might be available; this might include attending workshops or design-specific tradeshows.
• Create reliable financial reports for position-related expenses; collect or submit payments on time; remain under budget with costs.
• Other duties as assigned.
