INDUSTRY: Construction, Industrial, Water/Wastewater

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in construction or industrial project estimation. Water/Wastewater management experience is a plus but not necessary. Candidates with relevant education and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for construction and industrial projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents.
• Gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the development of bid proposals and project budgets.
• Work closely with the senior estimation team to learn and apply best practices.
• Participate in site visits as needed to understand project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with the right educational background will be considered.
• Electrical Trade knowledge is required.
• Some exposure to construction or industrial environments.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimation software is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
