Job Description

Our client, large beauty retail company, is looking for a remote Jr. Tax Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role working on eastern time zone hours. The successful candidate will multi-state tax experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 4-5 months through tax season, possibility of extension based on need

• Pay: $25/hr on W2

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, standard working hours in eastern time zone

Responsibilities:

• Recommend changes to help improve the tax filing process

• Coordinate information received from businesses to prepare tax returns

• Recognize tax savings opportunities

• Escalate tax errors or issues to management 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred

• 2+ years of multi-state tax experience

• Accounting background with knowledge of debits & credits

• Large volume client experience is helpful

• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance or Oracle HCM is highly preferred
