Job Description

Vertex IT Systems is looking for an experienced Lead Angular Developer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-performance web applications using Angular. You will work closely on portal-based applications, drive technical decisions, mentor developers, and ensure best practices across the frontend architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular and its ecosystem, including Angular Universal (SSR) .

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using Angular .
• Architect scalable, maintainable frontend solutions and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Implement Angular Universal (Server-Side Rendering SSR) to improve performance, SEO, and user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code that meets design specifications and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Design, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality features and user experiences.
• Guide and mentor junior and senior developers through code reviews, technical feedback, and best practices.
• Ensure applications are regression-free, well-documented, unit tested, and follow coding standards.
• Implement responsive design and a mobile-first approach.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in and lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as defined by Charter.
• Work closely with stakeholders and project managers to understand requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality software on time.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and frontend architecture.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of web development experience with Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS , and RxJS .
• Hands-on experience with Angular Universal (SSR) .
• Experience with GraphQL, NGRX/Flux, RESTful Microservice Architecture , and modern frontend patterns.
• Familiarity with React and/or Vue is a plus.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Exposure to GraphQL, Apollo, and AWS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and modern web standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
