We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Chick-fil-A. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, retention initiatives, and fostering growth and development within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the recruitment of high-quality candidates, promote employee engagement, and support the professional development of our team members. Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Source and recruit top talent by leveraging internal and external networks, attending career fairs, and building talent pools.
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and enhance our recruiting materials to attract and engage potential candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, as well as coordinate and participate in the selection process for team members and leadership positions.
  • Coordinate orientation details for selected candidates, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in all systems, including new hire forms, onboarding documents, insurance information and payroll processes.

Retention Initiatives:

  • Continuously assess team morale through regular observation, engaging with team members at all levels, and taking proactive measures to increase retention and protect our brand.
  • Prioritize prompt and efficient communication with Team Members, addressing their requests and needs related to health insurance, uniforms, payroll, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Collaborate with evaluators to ensure consistent and comprehensive employee evaluations.
  • Work together with Certified Trainers to ensure effective training practices are implemented and team members have access to resources to foster personal and professional development.

Policies and Compliance: 

  • Regularly review store and company policies to ensure compliance and clear expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and ensure proper signage is displayed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and requirements within the store.
  • Thoroughly review and validate accuracy of onboarding documentation.
  • Oversee disciplinary actions and ensure they are handled in accordance with HR policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 
  • 2-3 years experience in human resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships and coach team members.
  • Business acumen to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy, understanding how human resources impacts the strategy, and align staffing needs accordingly 
  • Servant leadership mentality with a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Well-organized manager with excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
