This executive role is critical in fostering a world-class employee experience that mirrors the elevated service culture expected by discerning guests of luxury hospitality brands.

The ideal candidate will be a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR leader with a proven track record in luxury hotel environments, strong service culture expertise, and a passion for developing high-performance teams. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR or Talent role within luxury hotel or resort groups.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written) – required.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-property operations and pre-opening HR strategy for new hotel developments.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service culture, employee engagement, and brand-driven HR practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Puerto Rican labor laws and hospitality industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Develop and execute a holistic talent and culture strategy across all properties aligned with the group’s luxury service standards and brand values.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on organizational development, succession planning, workforce planning, and culture shaping.
  • Lead cultural integration for new hotel openings and acquisitions.

Talent Management & Employee Development

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of talent management including talent acquisition strategies, onboarding, learning & development, and performance management.
  • Design and implement training programs that reinforce a guest-centric, service-driven mindset at all levels of the organization.
  • Drive leadership development and mentorship initiatives to build internal talent pipelines and succession readiness.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Champion a diverse, inclusive, and values-driven workplace that fosters engagement, motivation, and high retention.
  • Reinforce and evolve the company’s service culture through clear communication, recognition programs, and consistent leadership behaviors.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance internal communications, employee well-being, and team cohesion across culturally diverse teams.

Compliance, Metrics & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations in Puerto Rico and upcoming jurisdictions.
  • Utilize HR metrics, feedback tools, and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize people performance.
  • Partner with property HR leaders to ensure consistent and high-quality HR service delivery across all locations.

This is a rare opportunity to join a visionary leadership team and shape the culture of a growing luxury hospitality group in one of the Caribbean’s most vibrant destinations. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing exceptional talent and crafting unforgettable guest experiences through people-first leadership.

Compensation: Pays a low 6 figure salary plus company benefits.
