Role Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Field Service Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing servicing activities for ViewRay Systems equipment within your assigned territory. In this role, you will provide field service and technical support for our customers through various channels, including phone, online, or onsite visits, depending on machine status and customer needs. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule and prioritize work to ensure urgent customer requirements are addressed promptly, maximizing customer satisfaction.

Flexibility in working hours is essential, as you may be required to work outside the traditional 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule, including weekends, to meet service obligations and customer needs. This position reports to the Director of Global Field Service.
Responsibilities
Education, Experience, and Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Biomedical Engineering (BME), Mechanical Engineering (ME) or equivalent experience required.
Experience
2-4 years of field service experience with radiation-producing medical devices such as Linear Accelerators, MRI, or CT is preferred.
- Experience with high-power RF systems, magnetics, and cryogenic systems is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in field service for medical devices and engineering is preferred.
- 2 years of experience working with high-power RF systems, magnetics, and cryogenic systems is preferred.
