We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Facility Operations Coordinator to support warehouse & facility operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities such as data entry, vendor coordination, shipping and receiving, and general facility support. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and hands on.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including unloading, loading, and verifying contents.
  • Determine the appropriate method of shipment, prepare shipments by packaging, labeling, and protecting items for transport.
  • Document items shipped by recording and documenting as required.
  • Receive shipments by accepting deliveries, unpacking and confirming deliveries. Verifu items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, noting any discrepancies.
  • Handle, preserve, segregate, protect and store products to prevent damage, contamination or deterioration.
  • Handle and store material in accordance with procedures from receipt through delivery of the final product to the customer.
  • Maintains stock of shipping and receiving materials.
  • Monitor all warehousing supplies and participate in regular inventorying activities.
  • Perform activities in accordance with all required safety guidelines.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
  • Plan and schedule calibration and preventive maintenance for equipment.
  • Coordinate work orders for facility upkeep, including refrigeration and other critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure bin locations are accurately labeled and cold storage is organized and maintained.
  • Be available for occasional weekend work, based on operational needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving environment.
  • Experience with MS Office; must be able to perform regular administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • A high degree of independent initiative and ability to work in a complex team setting.
  • Experience with import/export procedures and delivery requirements preferred.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials.
  • Must be able to lift and bend frequently; must be able to routinely lift and move up to 50 lbs.; capable of working in indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadline oriented. Organized with excellent time management skills are critical.
