Larrys Laundromutt in Sewickley, PA is looking to hire an experienced pet groomer to join our busy grooming department. We are located at 201 Ohio River Blvd., next to the Eat n' Park. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, honest, ambitious, and hard-working. We have grooming shifts available both in-store and in our mobile grooming van. We currently offer a 50/50 split of grooming commissions, flexible schedule and pleasant work environment. Spend yoiur day in the company of animals.

Responsibilities

• Dog and/or cat grooming-bathing, nail trimming and or grinding, ear cleaning, anal gland expression and breed specific haircut.
• Scheduling appointments and returning customer's phone messages
• Disinfecting and cleaning grooming station.

Qualifications

• Grooming experience is a requirement for this position, but we are open to giving someone with basic grooming knowledge and tools the opportunity for hands on training.
• Ability to work independently and get along with co-workers, customers and their pets.
• Drug, alcohol and drama-free.
• We are looking for someone mature, reliable and able to get to work on time when scheduled.

If you also have a good driving record, there is an opportunity to become one of Larry's mobile groomers. Mobile groomers can earn more money and have less distractions than in-store groomers.
