Our Location:  Our Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) is located in the heart of the Ikea Commercial District where we have 200,000 square feet of state of the art production and inventory. We maximize our facility with two shifts of production, five days per week. We enjoy a culturally diverse workforce and promote team orientated solutions to delight our customers.

Our Peak Finishers are temporary positions until December 31, 2025. Peak Finishers are responsible for all functions necessary to prepare garments that have been embellished to ship to the customer. 

Peak Finishers are eligible for Paid Sick Leave accrual, Incentive up to $4.00/hour in addition to Peak Bonuses and overtime.

Essential Functions

  • Trim backing from logo
  • Steam hoop marks from garments and remove Solvy, if necessary
  • Inspect each logo on a garment to assure the location is accurate, trimming of the backing has been done correctly, steaming is complete, excess threads are trimmed, and any repair of the embroidery or garment has been finished.
  • Fold and package garments.
  • Follows work standard for all steps in the process to assure the most efficient way to steam, inspect, fold, or bag.
  • Ability to learn all of the above functions within a designated period of time.

    1. Immediately notifies supervisor when there is product not meeting C&B quality standards.

    2. Each associate impacts the team incentive by meeting productivity standards.
    3. Understands the importance of “rush” orders and prioritizes them to meet our shipping deadline.

    1. Adheres to the attendance standards to ensure that scheduled production may be accomplished on time.
    2. Proactively notifies supervisor of requests for time off to ensure enough notice for the approval process to take place.
    3. Is able to work the standard shift’s hours and days.
  3. Technical Skills
    1. Appropriately and proficiently use the finishing equipment i.e. scissors, folders, steamers, baggers, and tape guns to avoid damage to the product.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Skills/knowledge
    • Good manual dexterity.
    • Ability to perform very close detail work.
    • Perform tasks and assignments, as well as collaborate within a team.
    • Teachable. Willing to follow direction and learn work steps and standards.
    • Ability to understand paperwork.

 

  • Education
    • High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience

 

  • Preferred Experience
    • Sewing
    • Small assembly
    • Packing/shipping
    • Production environment

 

  • Physical
    • Good hand/eye coordination required for 90% of tasks.
    • Proficiently and efficiently performs all manual tasks and functions as trained
    • Perform assigned tasks in an environment with production floor embroidery machine noise.
    • Demonstrated ability to lift or push carts up to 30 pounds.
    • Available to work additional hours as necessary and required to meet productivity demands.
    • Ability to stand on feet all day on concrete flooring.
    • Able to work in a warehouse environment that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
