Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals, excellent grooming skills, and the ability to provide top-notch customer service. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling, to ensure our furry clients look and feel their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Provide breed-specific and custom grooming cuts and styles.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during grooming sessions.
- Assess the condition of each pet's skin and coat and communicate any health concerns to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment.
- Interact with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
- Keep accurate records of grooming sessions and any special instructions.
- Handle dogs with patience and care, ensuring a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer or in a similar role for a year
- Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Attention to detail and a passion for animal care.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle pets safely.
- Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment.

Shift Requirements:
Shift availability open to discussion per applicants schedule.
We do require Sunday appointments for in-house dogs when booking applies.
