We are looking for someone who wants to become a professional dog trainer.

Dog Gone Problems is Omaha's largest positive dog training organization. We have helped thousands of Omaha area dogs with training and behavior needs. Each month 150+ puppies enrol in our positive puppy classes and we run a low volume doggy daycare.

We have an opening in our daycare and are looking for a passionate dog lover to join our team.

Our dog daycare attendents manage a room of up to 12 dogs which gives you an introduction to positive dog training. You will spend the first week learning how to read dog body language, getting to know the dogs and the basic obedience training we do with the dogs eahc time thye visit with us.

Candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to relate to the dogs are promoted into our puppy class training program where they learn how to train puppies in 40 different lessons. Puppy class instructors lead small socialization classes, coaching the puppy parents up until they are successful.

Puppy class instructors who show the potenitial are promoted into our professional dog trainer training program.

It costs us nearly $10,000 to train a new dog trainer, so we are looking for people who are serious about working in the dog industry. Our ideal candidates are people who are passionate about dogs and are looking dor a career with a company that rewards hard work and effort by promoting its staff.

Dog daycare reps start out at $13.50 an hour but will be paid $15 an hour starting January first. You can enjoy great benefits such as Snack/Drink Room, Employee Discounts, and Paid training to become a Professional Dog Trainer.

Your day to day as a Dog Daycare Attendant

As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Dog Gone Problems, your days will be filled with joy and wagging tails! You'll watch dogs play in our vibrant dog dayroom, ensuring their safety and happiness throughout their time in doggy daycare. Guiding pups when they need a little help, you'll reward their positive behaviors with tasty treats and affectionate cuddles.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Dog Daycare Attendant at Dog Gone Problems, you'll need a mix of hands-on experience and a natural affinity for our furry friends. Previous dog daycare experience is wonderful, but not required. We have a great training program in place where we will teach you how to read the dogs, run a room and have fun while doing it.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
