Job Description

We are hiring a Lab Manager / Data Center Inventory Coordinator to support lab operations in Richardson, TX . This onsite role is responsible for managing daily lab logistics, equipment handling, inventory control, network circuit monitoring, and ensuring the facility is visitor-ready. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience in data center or IT lab environments, excellent organizational skills, and strong coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day lab operations and IT inventory, including shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.
• Troubleshoot network circuits and coordinate timely resolution with service providers.
• Perform racking and stacking of network and server equipment.
• Use Netbox (or similar systems) for accurate inventory management.
• Coordinate logistics for incoming/outgoing gear and maintain detailed records.
• Ensure all lab and office spaces (including kitchen) are clean, stocked, and visitor-ready.
• Act as the main contact for third-party vendors and facilities maintenance.
• Support other internal teams with facility needs and lab readiness.
• Lift and move equipment or boxes up to 30–40 lbs as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in lab, logistics, or data center operations .
• Strong shipping & receiving expertise (FedEx/UPS, documentation, and tracking).
• Familiarity with Netbox or similar inventory/asset management tools.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for network circuits.
• Experience with racking and stacking IT hardware.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable with occasional physical tasks (lifting, organizing equipment).
• Experience supporting or working with facility management teams.
• Previous experience in telecom or tech industries preferred, but not required.
