Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their team to contribute to our growth as a bank to support M&A transactions from a customer experience, communication and retention standpoint. This is a highly strategic position that will work cross-functionally with our Integration Management Office, Marketing, and IT partners to deliver legally & regulatorily required notifications to customers and create personalized journeys to ease transitions

Skills and Requirements
Master's Degree in computer science, statistics, economics or related fields
Experience with financial services M&A transactions, preferably through audience targeting, or marketing
Experienced at leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines
Strategic, intellectually curious thinker with focus on outcomes
Professional persona with the ability to form relationships across functions
Strong experience with SAS (preferred), R/RStudio or Python are also beneficial
Strong experience querying complex finance service data utilizing SQL
