New Edge Associates is collaborating with a reputable banking partner that is currently hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lender in Miami, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, develop, and manage relationships with commercial real estate clients, including developers, investors, and property owners
• Structure and underwrite various CRE loan types including acquisition, construction, bridge, and term financing
• Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, proformas, and project budgets to assess credit quality and deal viability
• Prepare detailed credit packages and present recommendations to credit committee
• Maintain a performing loan portfolio and conduct ongoing risk monitoring and client reviews
• Work closely with credit, legal, appraisal, and closing teams to manage the loan process from origination to funding
• Stay informed on market conditions, property trends, and regulatory changes affecting CRE lending
• Represent the bank at industry events and networking functions to build visibility and pipeline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending or commercial banking with a focus on real estate finance
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills, particularly in CRE loan structures
• Proven track record of originating and managing a profitable loan portfolio
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
• In-depth knowledge of local and regional real estate markets
