The Impact You'll Make As Chemist I, you'll support product development from concept to commercialization, working on formulations that directly impact dairy farm safety and efficiency worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct formulation work for new dairy sanitizers and disinfectants, contributing to patent-protected innovations
  • Perform routine physical and chemical stability testing using advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-VIS, titration methods)
  • Test and evaluate new raw materials for antimicrobial efficacy and regulatory compliance
  • Independently execute laboratory techniques including wet chemistry, analytical method development, and pilot batch production
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and present project progress to cross-functional teams
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks and follow GMP compliance protocols for FDA/EPA regulated products
  • Collaborate with senior chemists on scale-up procedures and commercial manufacturing support

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
  • 0-3 years of analytical chemistry experience (internships and academic research count)
  • Competency in chemical analysis techniques and laboratory instrumentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to HPLC, UV-VIS spectrophotometry, or chromatography methods
  • Experience with dairy, food science, or pharmaceutical applications
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, or EPA regulatory requirements
  • Academic or internship experience with formulation chemistry or product development
