Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team:

  • The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

Key projects:

  • The candidate will be responsible for reviewing contracts, focusing on compliance within the sales deal execution process.
  • A legal background is important for the role, as the candidate will need to understand and review legal content.
  • The candidate will also need to manage and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • The role involves problem-solving under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

  1. Minimum 5-6 years’ experience with managing and executing sales deals with a focus on compliance.
  2. Minimum 5-6 years’ experience with Legal and compliance background, particularly in reviewing contracts.
  3. Minimum 4+ years’ experience with Microsoft tools and systems (CRM COSMIC, VL Central, OneVet, ECIF Central, OneSOE, APT)

Title: Business Analyst

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid role – up for discussion on how many days)

Pay range: $40 - $45/hour

Type: 18 Month Contract (with possibilities of extension and conversion)
