Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
♦ Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
♦ Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
♦ Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
♦ Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
♦ Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
♦ Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
♦ Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
♦ Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
♦ Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
♦ Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
♦ On occasion serves meals to guests.
♦ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
♦ Regular and reliable attendance.
♦ Performs other duties as required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)
Frequently stands, walks, talks, listens, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
♦ Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
♦ Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
♦ Professional and courteous demeanor
♦ Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
♦ Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients and vendors
♦ Fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding
♦ Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
