Valeriana Wallichii
Valeriana is a well-known herbal sedative that is used to improve subjective sleep quality and the regular administration of the herb will result in significant effects.
Valeriana, roots and rhizome are highly aromatic and contain valerenic acid that inhibits the breakdown of neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), resulting in a sedative effect and helping to treat insomnia clinically. It is also beneficial in the treatment of neurasthenia, insomnia, hysteria, emotional disorders, palpitation, abdominal pain, lumbocrural pain, rheumatism pain and dysmenorrhea.
